Hardwood Conservatory Kitchen
This brief required us to double the size of the kitchen area to make space for a new fitted kitchen. The client also wanted the wooden conservatory to make the most of the beautiful view over their garden.
We chose to finish the bespoke hardwood conservatories in a clear mahogany to complement the existing structure. The roof glazing incorporated solar controlled glass to manage the build up of heat during the summer months.
We have extensive experience in providing bespoke hardwood conservatories, and quickly identified we could remove two of the external load bearing walls on the ground floor kitchen area to create extra space. The proposed wooden conservatory would eventually span six metres in each direction and special L shaped RSJ’s, plus supporting structural posts were installed to support the external house walls.
While this was quite a task, as any error would have caused a major structural damage, our team have vast experience in creating high quality timber conservatories and quickly eliminated any problems. As with all our wooden conservatories, the whole project was supervised by building control and everything went according to plan. The entire aspect of the house has significantly changed for the better and our client was thrilled with the final outcome.
