The George Hotel

We were asked to create a very special hardwood orangery to make better use of space to the rear of this country hotel, as the client wanted to extend the dining room into this area to increase revenue.

The project was far from straightforward as a number of walls involved were not in alignment. Whilst overcoming this challenge, we created a hardwood orangery that allowed extra light into the room and created a very inviting space.

We have extensive experience in providing our clients with timber orangeries, and the client was thrilled with their orangery design which was manufactured from hardwood and finished in a cream stain. Solar control glass was used for the roof glazing to control the heat in summer. Our plans for the wood orangeries were approved and the whole project was completed on time. As expected, our dining room hardwood orangeries have been in great demand and this design proved to be a very successful extension to the hotel.
