Description
A big UK retailer (who can't be named due to non-disclosure agreements) came to us to deal with their search visibility issues. They'd picked up a manual penalty from Google and their rankings in organic search had plummeted. Using our tried and tested process, we analysed their backlink profile to the deepest level possible to identify the risky & dangerous incoming links. This data allowed us to contact these site owners and remove a large proportion of the bad links. Following this we disavowed the remaining risky links and sent a reconsideration request to the webspam team at Google. 4 days later the manual penalty was lifted and rankings returned to the site, giving strong organic search visibility once again!
